Our Special Outdoor Session on 5th July 2016

Yesterday, something very special happened on our outdoor session at Ambury Farm. We got to witness a cow giving birth to a beautiful calf! The first time mum did an amazing job (unaided), and her maternal instincts kicked in straight after she gave birth- cleaning her calf thoroughly. Towards the end of our session, the calf was finally able to stand up and have a big drink of milk from mum.
The horses were also a favourite with the children, who loved the attention!The outdoor sessions are an invaluable way to teach our young kids about the world we live in- It's one thing to read about it in books, but a whole other thing to see and experience it first hand.

Our 2nd Term 2015 last day was a blast!

Colourful footprints. Waterfalls. Sand. Tunnel. Finger-paint.
And our visitor friend, Cookie the Puppy.
That was such a remarkable day to end our Term 2 of 2015!

Amazing Changes in Colours

"You can teach a child a lesson for a day;
but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity,
he will continue the learning process as long as he lives."
